Who is behind Les Poochs brushes, how they are made, and why groomers have been using them since 1987.

Since 1987

Les Poochs has been building brushes for groomers – trusted by dog owners and groomers worldwide for almost 30 years. The brand is based in Paris, London, and New York.

How the brushes are built

  • Rounded bristle tips. The bristles are long and highly polished, with rounded tips – they do not break or split the hair.
  • Flexible head. It follows the ribs, shoulders, and hips instead of jumping over them.
  • Ultrasonically welded. Handle and head are welded instead of glued – which is why the brushes last for years.

Three families, five brushes

The Pro Brushes are designed for daily grooming. The Finishing Brushes have twice the number of bristles and are designed for shedding and finishing. The Mat Zapper is a specialized tool and is only used for solid matting.

Which one suits your dog depends on the coat type – not the breed. You can find the brush finder on each brush page.
