    The Gold Brush is the softest brush in the Les Poochs range. It belongs to the finishing brushes and has twice as many bristles as the everyday brushes – designed for fine, short coats and sensitive skin. It removes loose hairs and gives the coat shine and structure at the end.

    A good fit if your dog …

    • has fine, short or soft fur
    • has sensitive skin or quickly becomes restless when brushed
    • is a puppy and is just getting used to grooming
    • should receive a clean finish after bathing and blow-drying

    Better a different one if …

    • your dog has a dense undercoat – the Silver Brush is made for that
    • the coat is thick, coarse, or woolly – then use the Purple Brush
    • the coat is already severely matted – then you first need the Mat Zapper

    Is the Gold Brush really the softest?

    Yes. It is the softest in the Les Poochs range – the manufacturer lists it as a Finishing Brush with a soft, flexible head for fine and short coats.

    Gold or Green?

    The Green Brush is the everyday detangling brush. The Gold Brush is the finishing and shedding-season brush with twice the number of bristles. Many people use the Green day to day and the Gold to finish.

    Does it pull out undercoat too?

    Only a little. For real undercoat you need the Silver Brush – the firm version of the same design.

    From what age can I use it on a puppy?

    As soon as your puppy is home. Start with short one- to two-minute sessions so that brushing stays something pleasant from the very beginning.
