Born in a hot summer of 2003 in Taiwan

Petstro is the brand of Pettio Corp. from Yonghe in New Taipei City, Taiwan. In the summer of 2003 the team built its first pet stroller. Behind it are designers and engineers who come from the pram industry and have carried its safety mindset over to transporting dogs and cats.

Today Petstro describes its range as the most complete line of pet strollers in the industry, from the light city buggy to the model for dogs over 50 kilos. The buggies are sold in more than 15 countries and offered in Europe through specialist retailers such as cotonluv. The company regularly exhibits at Interzoo in Nuremberg.

Ich finde den Petstro super allerdings muss ich 2 Punkte bemängeln, weshalb ich ihn fast zurückgeschickt hätte. Zum einen ist das Vorderrad zu klein und nicht Luftgefüllt (schlecht für´s Gelände, daher holpert er sehr) und 2. sind die Stangen, die den Wagen innen in der Länge stabilisieren ab der Mitte nach innen abgewinkelt. Damit werden im hinteren Teil des Innenraums 4cm in der Breite weggenommen. Warum sind die Stangen nach innen gewinkelt und nicht nach außen? Das sind 4cm weniger Bewegungsfreiheit, die bei uns sehr wichtig wären.
Schade finde ich auch, dass bei diesem Preis das Regenverdeck nicht enthalten ist.

Insgesamt mach der Buggy einen stabilen Eindruck. Er lässt sich sehr leicht auf-und zusammenklappen und ist für einen so großen Wagen platzsparend zu verstauen. Die Räder sind sehr leicht montierbar.
Ich würde mir ein Vorderrad mit Luft wünschen. Das würde den Fahrkomfort deutlich erhöhen, besonders auf unebenen Wegen, da klappert es doch sehr.

Yes, the Skyline runs on air tyres and therefore rolls smoothly over cobblestones and forest paths. You will find 15-inch replacement tyres, front wheels and rear axle with us as spare parts.
Is there a rain cover for Petstro buggies?
Yes, the rain cover covers dog and interior and is cut to fit each model pair. It can be put on and taken off again quickly.
How do I clean the Petstro buggy?
The inner fabrics are washable and partly removable, and you can wash the cushion separately. For Safari and Skyline you can get replacement covers from us if the fabric is worn after years.
Can the Petstro buggy be folded with one hand?
Yes, all four models have a one-hand folding mechanism. That way you can hold the dog and fold the buggy at the same time.
