    Brief description

    • Professional Sectioning: Ideally suited for cleanly separating and securing individual coat sections during cutting, trimming, or styling in the dog grooming salon.

    • Perfect Work Focus: Reliably keeps excess hair out of the way, providing the groomer with a clear view and undisturbed access to the coat area being worked on.

    • Gentle & Elastic: With a diameter of 0.85 cm, the elastic bands fit perfectly around fine and thick strands without constricting or damaging healthy hair.

    • Structured Workflows: Supports visual orientation when modeling complex cuts – finished sections can thus be easily separated from unprocessed areas.

    • Discreet & Inconspicuous Hold: The classic black color blends elegantly into dark fur and is excellent for invisible fixation in the show ring or for everyday salon use.

    Description

STRUCTURE AND PRECISION IN GROOMING – THE PERFECT AIDS FOR CLEAN WORK LINES For demanding haircuts, straightening, or fine hand-stripping, structured division of the coat is the key to success. The Tauro Pro Line Professional Coat Elastics are indispensable tools for groomers, breeders, and discerning pet owners to precisely control individual hair structures. Instead of constantly having to brush loose hair aside or re-sorting strands, these elastic rings allow for clean and temporary fixation of individual coat sections. This ensures an organized workflow and a first-class end result.

Clear Vision and Maximum Control over Every Coat Zone With an optimal diameter of 0.85 cm, this elastic band is extremely stretchable yet dimensionally stable. It allows you to divide the coat into smaller, manageable working zones or to securely tie back longer topcoat (e.g., on the face or head). This gives you a clear, unobstructed field of vision during scissor or clipper cuts and prevents adjacent coat layers from being accidentally cut. Especially with elaborate breed cuts, sectioning helps you keep track of which zones are already perfectly modeled and where corrections are still needed.

From Daily Salon Use to a Brilliant Show Appearance The coat elastics are designed to hold the hair securely without exerting unnecessary tension on the animal's sensitive skin or causing hair breakage. They are suitable for both daily salon routines and for precise styling and aligning the coat immediately before shows or competitions. The simple, black color is particularly advantageous for dark coat structures: it discreetly conceals the attachment in the background, allowing the focus to be entirely on the perfectly elaborated silhouette and the masterful cut of the animal.

    Technical Details

    • Material: High-quality, highly elastic, and coat-friendly rubber material

    • Diameter: 0.85 cm (perfectly sized for precise work)

    • Color: Black – ideal for inconspicuous and discreet fixation

    • Area of Use: Coat separation (sectioning), fixing working zones, tying top-knots and braids on dogs and cats

    Application Instructions

    • Sectioning: Comb the coat thoroughly beforehand. Neatly separate the desired strand of fur with a tail comb and secure it with a coat elastic.

    • Safety: Wrap the elastic firmly enough around the strand so that it does not slip, but do not fix it too tightly to avoid skin tension or discomfort for the animal.

    • Removal: To protect the coat as much as possible and to work without snagging, it is recommended to carefully cut the elastics with special elastic scissors after the grooming session, instead of painstakingly pulling them out.

    • Storage: Store the coat elastics in a cool, dry place and protect them from direct sunlight to maintain the elasticity of the material long-term.

    The maker

It all began with a poodle called Kika

Kika was the first dog of Janita J. Plungė, the founder of the Kika Group, to which Tauro Pro Line belongs. Her love for Kika became a profession: for over 35 years, Janita has been breeding and grooming Bichons Frisés, Maltese and Pomeranians.

Because nothing in the salon was good enough for her, she developed her own line. Every brush comes from that hands-on experience.
