Essentials CLARIFY is the gentlest cleansing shampoo on the market.
(Up to 20:1) CLARIFY is a soap-free "pre-wash" product designed to remove buildup from products previously used on the coat, such as aerosol sprays, chalk, crystals, oily silicones or conditioners.

CLARIFY has a low pH of 6.5 so it doesn't open and lift the cuticle along the hair shaft, as lifting causes unnecessary damage. Ashley Craig's Essentials CLARIFY cleanses with a mild solution that has a much larger molecular size and mass, as well as greater solubility, WITHOUT damaging the hair or lifting the cuticle.

It does not dry out the hair, does not irritate the skin by penetrating deep into the underlying cell layers or destroying the skin's microbiome. Suitable for daily use for sensitive dogs with skin irritations or superficial inflammations.

If you are using the Ashley Craig system for the first time, we recommend using CLARIFY first to rinse and remove buildup and then drying the coat thoroughly.
